Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) - Does the food business have a current FSS?

Guidance

The Food Act requires food businesses to appoint an appropriately trained FSS within 30 days of registering the food business (see s117, Food Act). If the FSS leaves a business, the proprietor has up to 30 days to appoint a new FSS. The FSS is not required to be at the food premises at all times but should be reasonably available.
